Road Trip To Ivybridge

It is a jolly boys outing to Ivybridge this weekend with both the chiefs and the quins playing away.

First thing is first there are two great rugby matches to be played and with the chiefs making a fine winning start to the season they will be keen to continue the fine form.

Ivybridge ran the chiefs close early in the season with 14-13 match. This will be a tough game and the Bideford lads know they will be up against it but are looking forward to the challenge.

Ivybridge go into the match having lost their last eight games but have had some very good results against good teams such as Truro and Kingsbridge both difficult places to go.

The chiefs hope to be selecting from a full squad, Shaps, Snell and O’Sullivan could be available.

The Quins have had a great season so far being led by the charismatic Lewis Goaman they stand a great chance of staying top. Last time these two teams met it was a tough encounter and the return leg will be as good as the first one.

There will be a coach going down to Ivybridge and although there will be spare seats it will be a first come first served basis. For more information please see Dave Harris at the Club on Thursday.
