| As I am sure you are all aware, on Wednesday we move into Tier 2 restrictions following the ending of lockdown. This means that “organised outdoor sport and physical activity … can continue” in accordance with Government Covid advice. In the absence of specific advice from England Rugby, your Covid Team has taken the decision that we should commence training sessions in accordance with Stage C of England Rugby’s Return to Rugby Road Map. This involves non-contact training with a maximum of 20 players, with all activity to include appropriate social distancing and strong personal hygiene maintenance. Such measures have been established through the use of the Covid cleaning kits issued and already used in training prior to the latest lockdown; the measures set out and established prior to the latest lockdown must be fully implemented over the coming weeks. The use of the Clubhouse will be in accordance with Tier 2 rules and members have already been notified of a forthcoming event at the weekend. The changing rooms remain closed. We must continue to maintain social distancing, good hygiene and common sense; the end is in sight! Best wishes and take care. |
