Training returns this evening, Wednesday 2nd December, down the club, YEAH!!
The Club’s Covid Team has done a monumental job prior, through, and coming out of lockdown. Working alongside, the Main and Junior Committees, they have spent an incredible amount of time over the last couple of days developing the quickest and safest way to return to rugby. The Club has unanimously come to the decision that we will be returning to rugby training this side of Christmas at Phase C on the RFU road map. This is for all teams within Bideford RFC. (You may have seen Phase F but please focus on the facts, quickest and in the safest way, to return to rugby)
Lockdown has gone, but Covid remains!! All measures that were in place prior to Lockdown, are still in place and must be adhered to. Remember!! Key points – One way system within the club, regular sanitising of hands, regular sanitising of equipment and kit.Parents who remain to watch, please follow outdoor guidance. Not gathering in more than groups of 6. Plus maintain the 2 metre ruling between each other.
Finally, the work the Club’s Covid Team has done through 2020, to allow any level of rugby should not be ignored. They have allowed training for several weeks in 2020, something that seemed absolutely impossible for much of this year!
