Bideford Quins were due to play Exeter Athletic on Saturday who unfortunately had to postpone leaving Bideford without a game. However the same happened to South Molton who agreed to come and play a friendly at Bideford. Having lost in October to the visitors Bideford knew that they faced a challenge. South Molton started strongly securing two good tries and a conversion with Bideford replying before the break with a great try by Arthur Souch. Trailing 12-5 into the second half Bideford brought on some fresh legs at half time and started to attack the game from other angles. Four great tries followed by Jono Slee, Callum Davies, Zach Powell and Richie Fenton with two conversions by Jordan Taylor. This gave Bideford a great home win of 29-12. Manager Ben Braddick congratulated the whole squad for a great comeback performance. Quins travel to face Exeter Engineers this week in a merit table game.
