Big Weekend Ahead for Chiefs, Quins, and Colts

The Chiefs Hit the Road – Devonport Services (A)

This weekend the Chiefs travel to Plymouth for what promises to be one of the toughest fixtures of the season. Our hosts, Devonport Services, have been in formidable form, sitting high in the league and staking their claim as title contenders after overtaking Topsham at the top of the table.

With only one league defeat, against Honiton, Devonport boast a powerful, physical pack complemented by real pace out wide. The Chiefs know they’ll need to be at their very best to come away with a result.

Injuries and a few unavailable players add to the challenge, but there’s positive news too: several players return from injury, and others step up ready to make their mark. The travelling squad will be as strong and determined as possible as they look to test themselves against one of the league’s standout sides.

There will be a bus going down for any supporters keen please contact the club directly.

HOME RUGBY THIS WEEKEND

Quins vs Ilfracombe – Derby Day

A big afternoon awaits at home as the Quins welcome league leaders Ilfracombe for a local derby. The last meeting between the sides was a competitive affair, though Ilfracombe came out on top. With confidence high following an impressive win over South Molton last weekend, the Quins will be eager to flip the script and claim a statement victory on home soil.

Expect a fierce contest, plenty of energy, and a home side hungry to climb further up the league table.

Colts vs Crediton – Young Talent on Show

The Colts are also in action at home, hosting a strong Crediton outfit. Several Colts players stepped up to make their senior debuts for the Quins last Saturday, each of them performing superbly and doing the club proud.

They’ll be looking to carry that momentum back into Colts rugby this weekend, with confidence high and a strong performance firmly in their sights.
