This weekend sees Bideford Chiefs travel to Bude for the final stages of the area rounds in the National Cup. Bude had the upper hand earlier in the season, knocking Bideford out in the first round of the Harpers Cup, but with much higher stakes this time around, the Chiefs will be eager to turn the tables.

Elsewhere, Quins are away to Tiverton in the crossover league. Quins will be keen to get back into action as attention turns firmly to the Merit Table, where five points from their final two games are needed to secure promotion. They are expected to name a largely unchanged squad following last week’s frustrating cancellation against Exeter Engineers. With unsettled weather forecast, there remains a slight risk of further pitch issues.
Sunday the ladies will be entertaining Bude at Bideford where everything is to play for.
