Newsletter – March 2021

The light at the end of the tunnel is NOT a train coming but illumination of our way out of this terrible pandemic, but we must continue to observe the rules set down by the Government and the RFU. Please read and digest the report from the COVID team which is attached again.

CLUB COACH – Hello everyone, I hope you’ve all managed to keep safe during this latest lockdown. As we see measures easing, we can look forward to welcoming the return of rugby.

I’m happy to announce that the Seniors will be returning to training as of early April until the end of May which would have marked the end of this season. At this point, the decision has been made that we will not partake in any fixtures until at least next season.

Training will take place once a week on a Friday evening. These sessions will consist of light conditioning, skills, and touch games to ease the boys back into a training routine. I would also like to take the opportunity to invite any 2nd year Colts who will be transferring to senior rugby as of July to come down and join us in these sessions.

I’m sure you’re as eager as myself to see the return of community rugby and I look forward to seeing you all at our next home fixture.

Any concerns or queries, please feel free to contact me. In the meantime, stay safe.
Jordan Petherbridge
Club Head Coach
