What’s On This Weekend?

While it’s a relatively quiet one at the club this weekend, there’s still plenty to look forward to,  especially as the Chiefs are back in action following their tough loss to Bude. The good news? They’ll be bolstered by the return of several key players to the starting lineup.

This weekend sees them face Ivybridge, a team with whom we share a fair bit of history. From league battles to cup matches that may or may not have happened about six years ago.

Ivybridge have held their own in the higher leagues, while Bideford are still early in their rebuilding journey. The home side have already faced a tough start to their campaign, taking on promotion hopefuls Topsham and a young but determined Crediton side on the road.

With a long away day ahead, the Chiefs will need to be sharp and well-prepared. After a disappointing display against Bude, there’s a real focus on training this week , and a strong performance is the aim as they head down the A38.

U16s Fisherman’s Cup Kick-Off 🏆

Away from the senior squad, the Bideford U16s kick off their Fisherman’s Cup campaign with a trip to Crediton. They’re coming in hot after back-to-back wins in warm-up games against Kingsbridge and Okehampton, and this weekend promises to be another cracking contest.

If you’re able to travel, your support would mean a lot to the lads , and it’s bound to be a great game to watch.

Ladies

Ladies travel to a tough fixture away to Topsham there have been some really good games in the past between the two teams and we look forward to another one.

Crampy and his team will no doubt have a good build up this week before the trip on Sunday.

Behind the Boys and Girls !

So while it might not be the busiest weekend at the club grounds, there’s still action worth watching,  and your support, whether home or away, makes all the difference.

Let’s get behind the teams and keep building that Bideford spirit. 💪🔴⚪
