We’ve got a massive weekend lined up at the club with a home double-header featuring both the Chiefs and the Quins in action. On top of the rugby, we’re also taking the time to celebrate the incredible volunteers who make this club what it is.
Volunteer Appreciation Day
To say thank you to our loyal volunteers, we’re offering free entry and a pre-match buffet as a small token of our appreciation. You’re the heartbeat of Bideford RFC – thank you.
Live Music
Stick around after the games for live music – full details below – and enjoy a great evening of entertainment.

On the Pitch: Chiefs v Helston
The Chiefs face a tough challenge this weekend against a strong Helston side, who are coming off a big win over Bude and currently sit near the top of their Cornish league. They’re a quality side and always bring a competitive edge.
We remember their warm hospitality when we toured down there – maybe they’ll bring a drop of Spingo with them across the border!
There’s good news on the selection front: the Chiefs welcome back several key players this week, including Mark Schofield, James Scott, Richard Norman, and Will Bliss, all returning from family commitments.
As it’s a cup match, we’ll be fielding an extended squad, with seven players named on the bench.
Quins v Barnstaple
The Mighty Quins are fresh off another high-scoring game against Crediton and are fired up for a local derby against Barnstaple in the league.
Barnstaple are looking to bounce back from a recent loss to Torrington, while our own backs are in great form and looking to carry that momentum into the weekend.
Captain Danny Braddick is rallying the squad for a big performance, and hopefully a derby double in the league!
