We’re thrilled to announce that Bideford Rugby Club has been awarded the Devon RFU Tribute Club/Team of the Month! The award was presented to us by Devon RFU President, John Drew, just ahead of the South Molton Derby last Saturday.
While the Chiefs claimed the victory on the pitch, this recognition is a true testament to the outstanding efforts across all areas of our club. From the Quins and Colts to our Ladies’ team and the thriving junior section, every player has contributed to this achievement. We also want to give a huge shoutout to our incredible volunteers who continue to support the club and make everything possible.
The award is determined by a panel of local judges, who take into account not just win-loss records, but also qualities like resilience, overcoming challenges, and achieving significant milestones. It’s an honour to be recognised for our club’s collective effort and spirit.
