Teams 
It’s a bumper weekend of rugby with plenty of action across all sections of the club.
The Chiefs travel to Exeter to face Sarries in what promises to be a cracking encounter. The reverse fixture at Bideford saw the Chiefs fall short of their usual standards, leaving them disappointed with their performance. They’ll be looking to put that right this time around, although it won’t be easy. Sarries boast a strong pack of forwards alongside a capable backline, making this a tough test.
The Chiefs go into the match on the back of a solid win against Tavistock. Unfortunately, Fraser Priest picked up an injury in that game and will miss the remainder of the season.
There’s no Quins fixture this weekend, with Bude opting to postpone. In the long run, that may work in our favour, with more players expected to be available next week.
The Colts are on the road to Cullompton for the Plate Final, where they’ll take on the hosts. The lads have done brilliantly to get this far, and with the Chiefs releasing players to support the squad, we wish them the very best of luck for the final.
The Ladies are also away at Cullompton on Sunday. It promises to be a tight and competitive contest, best of luck to the team!
Juniors
The Under 16s travel to Brixham on Sunday for the Shield Final, where they’ll face a strong Devonport Services side. Bideford will be boosted by the return of John Davenport, who is flying in especially for the match. The team will be close to full strength, with the exception of Riely Lloyd, who is competing in an international boxing tournament in the Caribbean.
