Teams 
Bideford hosted the travelling Okehampton team on a bright morning perfect for some running rugby. Bideford selected 20 players with the expectation of Okehampton bringing eighteen players, however on arrival Okehampton was only able to bring a squad of nine players.
With four games of ten minutes agreed with Okehampton, both teams of Bideford warmed up with the excitement of some game time in front of the home supporters.
The first quarter Bideford started as the wanted to go on with some great phase play going forward. Harry Phillips provided some great quick ball to William Slee at fly half who controlled the game all day crashing up some strong runs from Oli Rhoades, Jacob, The boy of steel William Harris, Alice Palmer, and Freddie Simpson. When the quick ball was on some great hands down the line fed Henry Morris and Olivier Bloodworth cutting threw the gap like a hot knife through butter. Okehampton tackled well keeping a good defensive line but with some great phase play and organisation from Bideford they were able to grind the determined Okehampton team down running in some great tries. Will Price made his first game of the season and played with a smile on his face passing the ball well and William Harris made some crunching tackles in defence.
The second 10 minute game meant a whole change to the Bideford line up with Poppy Brown playing brilliant all day at scrum half feeding Lotty Hill who stepped up at the fly half role controlling the game and setting off on some great runs. The hard determined runs from Jack Hastings dented the Oke defence scoring some great tries. Joshua Fisher carried the ball forward with great intent, hitting the ball at speed and scooting in with a couple of tries. Jack Lynd, Zachary, Albert and Noah Fee carried the ball up well. Matthew Thomas helped keeping the ball alive with some good support play as well as moving the ball oht quickly. Hugo Davey ran hard and well all day as well as some great hard tackling.
This was a great squad performance against a big Oke team. The players tackled well and showed great team performance.
