Players of all abilities are welcome to preseason this year!
The Chiefs have gained 3 promotions in the past 5 seasons, won the Devon Intermediate cup twice and managed to develop an exciting brand of rugby that has power and pace.
This season is the highest achievement that any player has achieved in the clubs history and is an exciting time for everyone in the club. South West One will be a challenging season where new teams will be encountered and the players have been gearing up for pre season with many of them hitting the gym already.
Bideford have strived both on and off the field to provide some of the finest facilities that are on offer in Devon including new changing facilities with Physio room, condition coaches and specialist coaching from local professional teams and community coaches. The clubhouse offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Bideford recent success is built on local talent and developing our youth talent. As an amateur club it is essential that players are given as much opportunity to develop and progress which is where Bideford excel. This current squad holds none less that 13 lads that have come through the junior ranks. That said the club always welcomes in new players of all abilities and last season our Welsh trio of Williams, Evans and James were quick to see the benefits of our social side!
Bideford welcome players of all standards so if there are any players out there that would like the opportunity to play rugby for an up and coming team we would love to see you at pre season training which starts on the 4th July at 7pm.

As we enter a new era in the clubs history we look forward to some new and old faces returning this year with some local lads returning to the club that have played at a higher level for a few years. These are exciting times for all involved!
