Exmouth v Bideford Harlequins

Bideford 2nds travelled away on Saturday to Exmouth. With availability issues causing a few problems this season so far they went with fourteen to be met by a large Exmouth squad of twenty plus, however Exmouth lent a player to make it a competitive game. Bideford conceded two quick tries which were converted, but they responded quickly with a great try by man of the match Liam Balsdon. Exmouth went on to open Bideford up out wide with some very talented wingers and full back however Bideford never gave up and responded just after half time with a well worked try by Nathan Board. The final score was 45-10 to Exmouth however it was a great start with young Archie Raymont growing in confidence and Matt Grout stepping in at fly half and certainly not looking out of place. With most people back available coach Ben Braddick hopes to field a strong squad for this weeks home game against South Molton on home turf.
