Bideford Quins v Exeter Engineers Match Report

Bideford Quins travelled to Exeter university on Saturday to play Exeter engineers. Playing on a 4G pitch was new to Bideford and not an experience anyone particularly enjoyed. Quins had a great a great first half, with a great defence keeping the young engineers under control and also playing some great attacking rugby with centres Tim Cramp and Greg Haste linking up well and Jordan Taylor controlling at fly half. Danny Braddick went to hospital just before half time with a suspected broken ankle leaving Quins going into the break at 0-0. Engineers made seven changes however Quins were first to score through Tim Cramp and Jordan Taylor converting putting them 7-0 up. Engineers seven replacements made a huge difference resulting in a final score of 28-7, but yet again Quins gave it their all to come away with a score that certainly didn’t reflect the game.
