Junior Section
The Junior Section of Bideford Rugby Football Club held its Awards evening in the Devon Hall at Bideford College on Wednesday 29th April. It was a fantastic evening to celebrate the success and achievements of the Junior Players, throughout the season.
Four hundred players and parents, along with members from the Club’s main committee attended.
There were medals for the age groups from the under 6s through to the under 12s, along with the most improved player award. Players from the under 13s through to the under 16s were awarded with the most improved player along with player of the season, chosen by their respective coaches.
The under 16s and North Devon Vixens (under 18 girls) were also awarded with the Players’ Player of the Season award. The section were privileged to have the Hon John Rous amongst the invited guests, to present the awards.
