Bideford colts played there last home game of the season on Saturday against Tiverton.
With perfect pitch conditions Bideford played with the wind to there advantage in the first half and produced some excellent rugby, but couldn’t quite finish off to get a score on the board before half time. Going into the second half Bideford knew they had to keep hold of the ball but conceded a try with in minutes for Tiverton to go 5-0 up.
However carrying on knowing they were still in a game produced some great running and defensive play by Bideford until an injured player caused the match to be stopped by the Ref so the result stood at 5-0. Man of the match was Tom Shovelton.
They will now play Tiverton again away in two weeks for the plate play off.
