Bideford Quins were away at Exeter Engineers on Saturday and faced a talented youthful university side. Having the wind to there advantage Bideford needed totake advantage in the first half, however Exeter defended well and it was only the pace of Pete Bowes that got Bideford a score which ment Bideford were trailing 19-5 at half time. Going into the second half and keeping the ball in hand Bideford got back toto 19-17 with another try by Bowes, one by the powerhouse of Nick Summers and Jordan Taylor converting, but time ran out and having played an excellent second half players were disappointed not to of managed to pull back a win. Man of the match went to BillyTeape.
